Artwork
By Jan Kath
Back to CollectionsJan Kath took inspiration from contemporary abstract artists for this collection. Wool is used like paint, with up to 24 colours in a variety of rich hues incorporated into each design. Pigments are built-up layer upon layer, giving the impression of an almost random, abstract pattern.
Material: hand-spun Tibetan highland wool, Tibetan nettle fibre and silk.
Technique: hand-knotted.
Custom size, shape and colours.
