Blooming

Zoë Luyendijk once came across a huge heap of discarded dahlias on the roadside. She filled her car with the buds and put them in vases all over her house. Blooming Out Loud comes out of this exuberant red scene.

These rugs express the abundance of the world, with wool, silk and linen playing together in rich layers.

Materials: Tibetan wool, silk and linen.
Technique: hand-knotted.
