Expanses of ink composed of countless lines, like patterns made by a ballpoint pen, are the inspiration for Ballpoint Art. Ink patterns in the rugs owe their lustrous, metallic appearance to silk yarn which is set against the matt, natural colours of hand-spun highland wool.
